She lost

by Rigena   Jan 9, 2005

She walks into the bathroom
She closes the door
She hears her mom talk
She can’t take it anymore

She wonders if she should cry
If It’s worth that tear
Either way she’s going to die
The people she will no longer hear

She remembers the feeling of the blood.
The feeling of it burning red
She remembers the lies she was told
And where everything lead.

She thought about it one more time
Before letting it cut through her skin
In her heart it would be a crime
To break the promise she holds so dear.

She holds it in her palm
Wondering why she can no longer do it.
She sits there and stays calm
But her heart can no longer bear it.

She tightens up her hand
The anger she remembers
The blood starts burning through
To the demon she surrenders

It took over her that time
That feeling slowly did
She couldn’t take it anymore
It’s hard to get rid

So she took the blade
She placed it on her vain
Slowly drove it through
That made her feel no pain

She didn’t live at all
Wished she always could
She didn’t want to run away…
She thought she never would……
