The Deal

by Just Sierra   Jan 9, 2005

Lonely hearted sighs
As she falls from the skies
Nobody cries
But silently she dies

Hell’s kings
Clipped off her wings
She lost everything
Including her promise ring

It was all because of hell
That forever she fell
Because she just had to tell
The story that rang a bell

The sorrow in the night
The extra light
Was needed despite
How long she’d fight

Hell swallowed her whole
And gained her soul
Her heart is now made of coal
Her life, forever dull

All she wanted to do was fly
Way up high
In the sky
So that she could die

A suicidal plan
She wasn’t enough man
To take pressure that came from his hand
A one-woman band

She’s broken in her sorrow
Looking for another soul to borrow
Because without her own, she’s hollow
And that would be too hard to swallow

As simple as it was, she was just an angel
The angel that landed in hell
With a sad story to tell
Because she had a soul to sell

*Whoops, I wrote this on a Sunday, I just realized that...oh well. By the way, I'm not satanic, so yah...lol.*
