Never real

by Sammi   Jan 9, 2005

No one should die at such a young age
They shouldn't be locked up in a painful cage
While the child smiles so sweetly
The sense is knocked out of them completely

How could a parent be so cruel
How could a parent be such a fool
Such a helpless little child, what did it do?
The parents reasons are reliably untrue

What can a child do to prevent this
A parent wishing their child didn't exist
The sadness overwhelms me so much
All the child wants is a parents loving touch

I don't believe any child deserves pain
I don't see how a parent could explain
Why they want their child to feel
A parents love that has never been real
