I AM that girl

by Heather   Jan 10, 2005

It all started with one small child
who grew to be smart, talented, and wild
woke up everyday and put on her mask
few people notice she kills deep inside
its too bad she makes her feelings hide
she hears people whisper, saying her name
they act like depression is just some game
the day came she couldn't take much more
looking down was a pile of blood on the floor
she picked up her head and stared at the knife
and thought "how stupid am I?I could of lost my life"
still here today, she takes off her mask
showing her true self to the class
the smiles are real, theres nothing to hide
thankful today that she's still alive
the story of a girl with a lot of misery
is it funny to think that that girl was me?
