The field ahead
is so much brighter
then the field that I am leaving

The field ahead
is so much lighter
because it's worth believing

The field ahead
will hide my disquise
so I can make it through this life

The field ahead
will open my eyes
and take away the strife

The field ahead
is full of new things
and there I will be happy

The field ahead
and the joy that it brings
in which the sun shines for me

The field ahead
will sing a new song
and give me the strength to sing

The field ahead
will help me along
and happiness it will bring
