Aurelia

Aurelia
You’re really a
pretty girl
smart as well

----

I saw you from across my cigarette
And I had to follow you with my head
You tell me guys just wanted you in bed
And I want to see you smile instead

I saw you in front of those old guys
Telling you nothing but lies
I wanted to see you; I got up
I could tell you had had enough

You talked to your friend
And It was far from the end
We stood, you smiled
I was just in a trance for a while

All of a sudden the girl with the beautiful face
Was in my arms in a dancing embrace
Everyone disappeared from the world
As fireworks and sparks whirled
Electricity in our lips, fighting for time
Never wanting our tongues to unwind

Time was short; she said bye
I was left with a number and a rushed sigh
A random occasion of a magical plight
And we went home neither sleeping that night.
