Train To Home

by Michelle   Jan 12, 2005

My baby's on a train heading for London
Hurtling toward the day that will change our life...
Will I be leaving my home,America, for England
Or will he come to me, to take me as his wife...

Many months into our journey now
But a few short uncertain hours remain
I wonder what's going through his mind
As my heart, my life..sits there on that train...

Is he looking out the window in a daydream?
Or simply admiring the view...
And thinking that he may soon be leaving...
So he sees England through eyes anew

Is he perchance thinking thoughts of me
Of the last time we were on that train together
Is he nervous and anxious about the day ahead
Or is he having fantasies of our forever...

My thoughts are simply filled with him
Speeding down the rails toward our destiny
Either way it will be decided soon
Will I go to him, or him to me?

My babys on a train heading for London
He's by himself, but he's not alone
My heart is right there with him
On that train that ultimitely brings him HOME.

That train is taking you to Victoria Station baby...and then you're on to the embassy..and they're sending you HOME. I can't wait to have you in my arms forever, next week. Love you more than life Craig..xxxMich
