Song of my heart

by Justin   Jan 13, 2005

Take a look at me and look me deep,
Tell me is it love or is it lie that you see,
That my eyes envisions for you,
I swear upon you it is so true.

Like a dew drop on the verdant blade,
Shimmering on a scarlet petal,
Place my tear drop on your lips red,
Sweetness of my love is all that you can feel.

We have come a long way holding hands,
Walking over the sun gold sands,
Vast and emerald expanse of grass,
And I want it till I breathe my last.

You have been a vision of love for me,
Please do not be so blind to see,
Place your head on my heart and hear,
Each and every beat is for you dear.

Your love is the blood that flows in my veins,
It is the only source of my sustenance.
You are my inspiration, joy and pain,
Don't let me out all alone walking in the rain.

I am a poet with my love for ink in my pen,
The songs I write would be on your heart,
Everyday every night and every moment,
Your absence makes me cry in such hurt.

I walk alone along the paths which our feet kissed once,
And I watch in gloom as the day ends in void of the sun,
As the light slowly fades away I know in my mind,
The sun will carry my words around for you to find.

I know not if I sing in vain as I call for you my dear,
With open arms to take you in sweet embrace,
And I will sing you in dissolution of your fears,
In beatific blissful slumber in utmost solace.

I hope my love song do not turn into an elegy,
With such a void in my life hard to fill,
Baleful ambience to pass days in agony,
Even burning on my empyreal bed, love you I will.

As the fire slowly purifies my sinful soul,
And renders me wings for my last journey
I know I will see love as tears in flux in dole,
I will rest my mind knowing that you still love me.
