Summer

by Krystin   Jan 13, 2005

I can’t wait for summer
When school days are done
Just chillin’ on my lawn chairs
With Hailee and Trilby, in the sun

I won’t have to study
Not one single test
Just days with my friends
Always looking our best

Instead of math and science
Instead of an oral report
I’ll be out side with my pals
Hanging in an umbrella fort

Walking to the convenient store
Singing and yelling away
I wish the summer
Would forever stay

Using lots of lemons
We will attempt to dye or hair
Waving to passing strangers
Without a single care

I can hardly wait,
For the end of the year
I’m counting the days
till’ summers here!
