It’s been a long hard year
But that was yesterday
We’re welcomed to a new dawn
And now I’m more afraid

I don’t wanna be alone this time
Not through this new year

And help hide my fears

Only god knows
What’s install for each and every one of us
Only time will tell
If there ever will be an “us”

I remember the night I met you
At a party under the night sky
The moon made your eyes shine
And then lifted my spirits and made me fly

Made my memories fade away

It’s a new beginning
And nothing else matters
