Time can run
Seasons can go by
You can blacken the sun
In the starry sky.

You can make the rain
Fall for years
I won’t feel insane
I won’t shed tears.

You can make the ocean
Black as coal.
I won’t be broken
I’ll still have my soul.

You can take the rainbow
You can take the sky
I will not feel low
I will never cry

You can take the sunshine
You can take the stars
I will always be fine
And play on my guitar.

You can take everything
I will be happy
Because I love you
And you love me.
