The Mystery Of Love

by ♥-Sharon Ardern-♥   Jan 16, 2005

A haunted love
Doomed to prevail
When a blessed love
Is doomed to fail

What is this
Love we give and receive
That is so strips us of
All we dare to believe

Coincidences
And many hearts stolen
And for some
Silence is golden

And sometimes we hide
Sometimes we laugh or cry
How can one emotion
Make us want to both live and die?

It never makes sense
Never goes how we planned
And no matter how strong we think we are
I don’t think we’ll ever understand

For no human tongue
Can thus describe it well
Only that it can be heaven
But so also can become hell.
