Cry for you

by chaz   Jan 17, 2005

I cry, I cry tonight... I cry
Tossing and turning till my tears run dry.
Longing to be in your arms, again,
Unexpected to be in misery and pain.

Darkness embraced with quarter moon.
Sitting alone by quiet lagoon.
Slowly swaying of Weeping willow,
Whispering pine sighed in my sorrow.

It's been so long since you've gone.
The emptiness I face from dusk to dawn.
Remembered how our love was meant to be.
Your caressing touch lingers, just a memory.

As times go by I feel so blue.
I can't stop thinking of you.
I hope, I pray... everyday I yearn
I know someday you will return.
