Why can't life ever go
the way we want it to go
life can be a real b****
and sometimes it's wonderful
unfulfilled dreams and wishes
are all we really have in present day
when someone says "I wish"
they are living in the future
I live in the present
I live day by day
never knowing what comes next
but whatever it is, bring it on
I may not be ready but there's only one way to find out
just do it
get it over with
some people call me crazy
some say I'm weird
some say this
some say that
I don't really care what people think of me
because I am who I am
and no one is going to change me
I'll put up my guard for as long as I have to
but you're not going to get by
with trying to change me
when I was little
I used to dream of being a superstar
and I used to wish
that someday I would be rich
well I'm finally on my way to success
some of my dreams and wishes
are beginning to come true
but I'm still living day by day
and so should you
