The real me

Its hard to look back
At what my life used to be
Because Ive realized now
That wasn't the real me

I couldn't deal with hurting
He brought me too much pain
Even when it was sunny
He turned my sunshine into rain

I don't know why I didn't leave
But something made me stay
Even though my heart was aching
Every single day

Its sad how I had gotten used to
People causing me so much strife
But now since Ive met you
You have truly changed my life

You always make me smile
And keep me wanting more
I`m proud to say that loving you
Isn't at all a chore

I love you for many reasons
And one reason may be
That you have finally found
The real girl inside of me

    ive felt like that before my ex changed me and then i changed to far to something that no one likes now cz of the way i am...lol wonderful though
