I woke up

I woke up this morning,
And you were by my side,
You were laying so still,
you were dreaming dreams you cant find.

you awoke soon after,
To realise they were only illusions,
The day had started before you,
you say you only wake up to prove to them.

To prove to them that you are alive,
And living a different life,
A useful life worth time,
you said you didn't want yours so i gave you mine.

I gave my life to you,
Because i found you needed it more,
I took the pain from you,
Instead of you,i let the devil visit my door.

i wound up a stupid excuse,
that may fire up a launch,
an excuse you cant refuse,
either you live or die,you choose.
