Oh how the snow blows

by JC   Jan 21, 2005

Oh, how the snow blows,
as it comes from the west.
Settles in the east,
when the sun comes up,
a joyous peacefulness breaks free.

A break from the cold, as once again a calm breaks through the land, all the world is at peace again.

Oh, how the snow blows, as it freezes the trees limb from limb.
The ground is still, and the animals sleep in the chill.

In the spring the warm shall come,
and things shall brighten.
The flowers shall bloom and everything will be better you'll see.

Oh, how the snow blows as it chills me to the bone.
With hopes of a lasting life,
to see another snow,
and the beauty that lies with in it.
