Never To Be Seen Again

by Ashley   Jan 21, 2005

People are not as they seem,
She seemed like a great friend,
Until she left us for weed.
Never to be seen again…

Some people are nice,
And others are mean…
But remember no one is as they seem.
He seemed so nice,
Until he tried to get her in bed,
And he never listened…
She asked him over and over again.

Some are true,
And some just use you.
I wish this wasn’t true,
But look at us…
All of our friends can’t be true,
Most of them just freaking use you.
Then they find someone better…
And they leave you,
Just like that.
Never to be seen again…

They ditch us for pot,
They ditch us for smokes,
They ditch us for beer,
Hell they even ditch us for sex, and a better toy deer.
Then we never see them again,
They leave us forever…
As if we where never there…
Are we really that much worse then beer?

When they leave us,
They act like we’re fools.
They act like there so much better then us.
But for what?
Fun?
If hurting someone is so much “fun”,
Then why do the hurt ones end up the winners?

Stick it out a little longer,
Hang in there,
Hold on tighter.
One day we will win,
But until then…
The losers remain…

Never to be seen again…
Until the day we are better, still yet again.

That won’t be much longer now,
It’s becoming clearer.
Everyone’s seeing it,
You’re not much cooler.
In fact, you’re the loser,
You’re the fool.
You are still not cool.

No matter how much pot you smoke,
Or how much you drink,
Or how much u screw…
You are still not cool.
Everyone might think you are now,
But in the long run,
We win.

We win because we’re smart.
We win because we’re brave.
We win because we listened to our parents talks.
We win because in the end,
We will be the only ones with any true friends.

Until then…
Never to be seen again…
