Too Close

by Mandi   Jan 22, 2005

He held her close,
A little too close.
She closed her eyes in fear,
Her friend was crossing the line,

She wasn't quite sure how she got into this situation,
But all she knew was everything was wrong.

"Stop" She said,
"Your scaring me" She whined,
She tired to struggle free,
And with the final words
"Your hurting me" he finally gave up,

He loosened his grip and she wiggled free,
She ran from the pick up and into the house,
She knew she would be safe when she was in the house,

She was never the same around him again,
this is the result of one friend
liking another more than just "friends,"

It wasn't the girls fault,
but yet she still suffered
those few uncertain moments
in which her fate lay in the hands
of her friend,
She would never have the friend she used to!
