She's ME

Cast away,
Like an unwanted shadow,
still alive,
But noone knows shes there,
A question lingers in her eye
But will never be answered,
She calls out
Much like an infant for its mother,
But theres no answer,
A silent tear drips down her face
Nobody notices and walks on by,
Alone, she has come to know
that she has to rely on herself,
nobody else,
At home she seems normal,
An average teenager locking herself up in her room,
Nobody suspected anything,
Nobody sees the pain she\'s suffering,
It hurst so bad like a knife in her chest,
But how can she show
what can not be seen.
She's the shadow on the wall,
She's the forgotten smile,
She's the unseen tears,
And little do you know,
She's ME!
