Pain of the Vampyre

by Krystle McFadden   Jan 24, 2005

In the corner she sits,
in a puddle of blood.
and her face so wet
with her crying flood.
no one sees this side,
no one cares,
No one could ever know,
No one sees
how she feels
she keeps it
locked with seals
One last time,
she unlocks it tonight
she opens herself,
and screams into the night.
She looks at her prey
and takes one final bite
She drinks the blood
and puts him out of site
the blood runs deep
within her veins
the death of an innocent,
always takes away the pains.
but it never lasts
she'll kill again
it's the only thing
on which she can depend
