My True Friend

by Bill   Jan 25, 2005

There is a friend, who is there to the end.
She's always there with a heart to lend.
She'll be there even around life's hardest
bend.

There is a friend, who's heart is true.
She'll be there always to comfort and hold
you. Even when you are feeling down and blue.

There is a friend, that will never induce
pain. Her words fall upon me like the
gentle, springs rain.

There is a friend, who's wise beyond her
year. She will be there to dry my every
last falling tear. In my hard times I'll
tell her all. I won't have to worry if she's
avoiding my call.

There is a friend, to all I owe. She will
be forever true. Just as the moons never
ending glow. Jodi, this is where you will
always stand. I just wanted you to know.
