Freedom By Death

by Elizabeth   Jan 25, 2005

Sadness drifts upon the mist
A full moon hangs over
Wishing for a sweet kiss
Like the soft touch of a flower
On the edge of darkness
Within the shadows , I stand
Feeling on my face a light dampness
Coldness grips my hands
Nightmares come when i close my eyes
So scared of the night
Wishing for a new life
Never again to be on the outside
Love so close within my grip
Slipping through a stained glass wall
A silent scream leaves my cold lips
I feel my self slowly fall
Cant ever hide from the pain
No matter how hard i try to resist
Alone crying in the rain
Praying to die so i can finally be free
