This poem i wrote awhile ago....when my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer...she past away on February 4th...but she is still my inspiration and always will be....i hope you like it....
Lost in feelings..
about to reach the edge
I said I wouldn't let you down
this i pledged
Failed promises
running through my mind
the path of not loosing you
I'm trying to find
I couldn't live my life
without my best friend.
we should be together
until the very end...
Feeling so helpless
there is nothing i can do
thinking something will go wrong
and i will have brief memories of you
I sit alone in my room
closing the door on everyone
afraid of being by myself forever
afraid of being alone
I have reached the edge
confused of what to do
I think..Jump..
and then i see a mere glimpse of you.
I take a step back
and run to your side
screaming don't let me go
this you have to decide......
