I close my eyes
And I think of times
When happiness took over me.

I sit down here,
All alone
Cutting, burning, silently.

Why does this life
Go up and down
Without any control

Why can’t I face
The final stage
Of being all alone.

I sit here now
Tears in my eyes,
Punching at my wall

My tissues red
My fist in pain
Ready to take the fall
