Cursed

by SammiBABY   Jan 30, 2005

In this hospital some twins were born,
beautiful, healthy girls,
Each with little tiny eyes
and the cutest blond curls.
The first one born was named Anna,
The second was called Jane.
The parents never imagined
that the girls would live a life in pain.

Anna and Jane were just 1 month old,
when their father ran away,
There mother fell into deep depression,
on that very same day.
Rose, their mother, struggled so hard
to put food upon the table,
She worked so hard to try to feed these girls
and wound up mentally unstable.

Jane and Anna grew terribly thin,
Rose kept getting worse,
she worked and worked all day long,
but there was never money in her purse.
The girls screamed for food
That Rose could never find,
She saw it as a sin to steal,
she couldn’t let that on her mind.

The twins hung on and stayed alive,
They grew to ten months old,
Then something new became apparent
which left their mother cold.
Before their father had left,
he left a present of so much worth,
A little boy in her stomach,
that she didn’t know about until birth

Rose struggled with her life,
And at the hospital she had died,
Leaving the twins alone,
with a new-born by their side.
The nurse at the hospital,
took them in that night,
Looked after them at her house,
Made sure they were all right.

The nurse, Joan fell in love with the kids
and decided to take them in,
She got the adoption approved,
And named the boy Flynn.
Joan looked after them for many years,
fed them and raised them well,
Until the twins turned against each other,
and made both of their life’s hell.

Jane was so mean to Anna,
Hitting her, teasing her, making her sad,
Every day it got worse
Anna was feeling so bad.
One day it got so awful,
that she grabbed a knife,
stuck it in her skin
and ended her whole life.

At just 13 she had killed herself
and had left Jane with just regret,
A little brother and a mum,
who would never forget.
Jane then wanted to kill herself
She cut herself right through,
Thinking if her sister died,
she should die too.

She tried and tried
She’d just bleed and bleed,
Then one dark day
She had to succeed.
She joined her twin in heaven,
And lived there in joy,
But back at home there still was
a sad lady and a little boy.

Joan was scared that Flynn would follow,
In his sister’s end,
but that boy did something worse,
he lived with a heart never to mend.
He lived a life not worth living,
Which always is the worst,

If his father had never left,
this little boy would not be cursed.
