Cancers second victim

Its taken someone from me once before
i just wish i could say it wont take anymore

but no one can control it,it has its own mind
theres not a cure that any doctor can find

theres a cure everything else you could possible think of
what about God,cant he send a cure from above

how is it that just one thing can cause so much pain
even after this second victim passed away the pain still remains

weather friends or family,were all affected
the pain began in our hearts when it was first detected

his hair began to thing,he got really weak
it really started to scare me when he could hardly speak

now hes gone,he went to a better place
I'll no longer look at the pain i saw in his face
