Out Of Her Range

by Jesi   Feb 2, 2005

This is about a girl, who went through a change,
She did a 360, something out of her range.

And this is about a boy, who had an impact,
He brought her to her senses, he got her intact.

She was proud of who she was, she did her own thing,
She dressed like she wanted, her speech full of slang.

She could not care less, about God up above,
Her heart was full of hate, she did not know love.

She did not care what people thought, she was always being rude,
She was proud of who she was, and of her attitude.

Then along came this boy…a P.K. to be exact,
And the saying was proved true, that opposites attract.

He was good-looking and smart, he seemed to have it all,
In comparison to him, way short did she fall.

He was perfect in her eyes, did not cuss didn't smoke,
Him liking her? Man this had to be a joke!

But deep inside he always knew, the person she could be,
He looked past what was seen, and the person she called “Me”.

He would look into her eyes and give her a wink,
All of this caused her, to sit down and think.

Why would a boy like him, have feelings for her?
Could she ever be worthy? There must be a cure!

Little did she know, it was right before her eyes,
She was caught up and swallowed, in all the world’s lies.

This boy was the one, who showed her what was real,
He showed her what was right, so God’s love she soon could feel!

Day by day and Night by Night, the girl started to change,
She did a 360, something out of her range.

She wore some more clothes, stopped cussing and being rude,
She was a new girl now, with a new attitude.

She drew closer every day, to God up above,
She stopped all the hating, and learned to know love.

All because a boy…a P.K. to be exact,
Proved the saying true, that opposites attract.

He showed her some respect, and the person she could be,
She had a whole new definition, of the person she called “Me”.

Now much time has passed, but she continues to stay true,
To others and herself, who knew she’d make it through.

But now there is this boy, the one who changed her life,
Who is going through it now, Cept about his future wife.

He feels that he’s unworthy and not good enough for her,
But now the girl tells the boy, I’m the one that has the cure!

“Look to God,” she would tell him, “He will change your heart,”
“He will put you with the one, who wants all, not just a part!”

And the boy doesn’t see it, but he still continues to change,
Because he showed a girl, something out of her range.
