New Light

I can now see the light
I'm turning over a new stone
Ive been given a new found strength
That I must hone

I'm leaving my pain behind
I feel the darkness fade away
I can now move on
Without pain haunting me everyday

Ive been given a second chance
To make wrong things right
Now that its in my grasp
I wont lose this light

Before I found this light
All I felt was pain
I thought I didn't belong in this world
That everything I did was in vein

I know this change might be hard
And things may not go according to plan
But I'll try my best everyday
And do the best that I can
