Life's End

by Kit   Feb 2, 2005

My knife and me scissors,
They are my friends.
I let loose the blood,
It could be my life's end.

There are bright red lines, Emblazened on skin,
And each is a mark
Of a chance at life's end.

I let myself go,
My life to defend.
Ironically enough,
It could be my life's end.

You get so freaked out,
Your will will not bend.
You will never get the chance
To make your life end.

Liquid red ribbons,
They let my soul mend,
Knowing that every day
I come close to life's end.

Soon I'll be free,
My soul I will rend,
From this trap of a body.
It will be my life's end.

Soon I'll just watch,
My field of life I need not tend.
Then it will be time,
To come to my life's end.
