War zone

by Sinister Soire   Feb 2, 2005

Rumbling ground burning skies
Terror in young children’s eyes
Bombs are dropping over head
People everywhere lying dead

People falling down with anguish
Falling to their knees in languish
The loving families are separated
As soldiers kill with knives serrated

The rattling guns are blaring noise
Rata tat rattling in endless poise
Screaming people run and hide
From the enemies that come inside

Nothing is left for the last survivors
These are the countries drivers
The last remains of great civilized
Populations of masses unorganized

The bombs fell and the guns shot
But what that’s there was really got
Parents died and babies lost
The war was fought but at what cost
