Saying goodbye

Sitting all alone,
hopelessness fills the air.
emptiness all around,
nothing left to share.
my world is out of control,
i sort through my mind.
the walls are closing in,
searching with nothing to find.
no sound to the ear,
colorless is the eye.
cold as touch,
i feel we're saying goodbye
