Dreaming about things that wont come true
Secretly crying, longing to hold you
Your smile is an oasis, a mirage for my soul
My feelings so deep they rage uncontrolled

Your eyes like emeralds shine through the night
Captivated by your beauty, my hearts delight
For all my life’s wishes you are the key
Lips like rose petals, tiny thorns torturing me

Life is uncertain when it comes to time
I’m working on myself to help change your mind
Some sunny day just maybe we’ll see
Rose petals will be rubies longing for me
