telling me not to cry
you were hanging in my room

i read it aloud and i screamed every word to you
i yelled at you for dying and and at myself for crying
you left you life in this letter taped to your heart
as you died in my home
the room once smelled fresh and new like flowers in spring
now smells of dead flowers and must
i will never step foot in it again
