Autumn Days

by Alex D   Feb 5, 2005

Heavenly Golden leaves blow in the wind,
People having dinner with their closest kin,
Dying, graying branches wave good bye,
The gentle wind heaves like a simple sigh,
Leaves falling from their homes on the branches of trees
Make their long journey to the ground carried by the breeze,
Blowing by the swaying flowers while their sleeping,
It feels like I’ve arrived into a world of dreams,
The world surrounds us with so much beauty
You just have to open your mind and it will be shown simply,
I get lost in the simple things the world has on display,
Until the sun shines through and the wind whisks me away
