Depression

by Shelby G.   Feb 8, 2005

For so many people, across the whole land
They wouldn't dare take God's almighty hand
For the hate they've been feeling, and the pain they go through
It's only themselves. no we, me, and you
They wouldn't dare ask for help, they'd much rather die
Ashamed of the world, and this is the reason why-
Because so many times, they'e been stabbed in the back
Seeing and knowing that loves what they lack
They slit there own wrists, pop pill after pill
They just want releif, they want to be killed

This doesn't apply to everyone
It may only apply to me
This is always how I feel
But I simply can't let this be
I really just want to heal

I think thats what we all want, really. This poem was interesting, surprising, in a way. The ending was what got me. Groovy poem.
