I love you, I miss you
You are very dear to me
But together forever isn’t for me
I know you think that I am being mean
But you are not the one for me
You have to believe me

It’s me
It’s my fault
Please forgive me
You are a great friend
Please don’t hate me

I want you to know
That your kisses were real to me
But I don’t love you
You have to see
I am not just being mean

I’ll be there for you
If I could be
I’ll always love you like a friend
There is nothing else for you and me

    I like this poem so much. This is exactly how I feel about my ex-boyfriend. But he doesn't seem to quite understand. But it was a great poem. I know many people that feel the same way.
