A Child's Confusion...

by Serena   Feb 9, 2005

Dear mother and father,

you are surely the best. I will love you for ever, even after I'm laid to rest,

But what I don't get, is why don't you love each other? Why don't you want to go and be together?

I see for you, it is hard to be together and love. I know you will be friends because of me. But that's not what I was thinking of.

I know you've changed, but I don't get how you can't love each other. But one thing that I know will never change, is that you are my mother and father.

Now you've both gone your seperate ways in love, and met some one else. But please try to remember the love that you felt.

For me, please try to see, that wouldn't life be easier, if we could just agree to disagree?

So stop the arguing! Stop the fights! Think of your children, because we too, have our rights.

(dedicated to my loving parents, that just couldn't work it out.)
