I wish that you would let me in
Instead of pushing me away
I wish you’d let me hold you close
And listen to what I say

I wish that I could show you
That I know just how you feel,
Believe me baby, when I say
I know your pain is real

I wish you’d let me take your hand
Instead of holding your knife
I wish that you’d just understand
I want to change your life

I wish you’d smile at me just once
Instead of giving me your looks
Don’t you know that suicide
Is nothing like the books?

I wish you’d let me heal your scars
And take away your pain
I wish you’d let me help you through
This never-ending rain

I wish you knew you much I cared
But it still remains the same
That even though I love you
You don’t even know my name…

    amazing poem, i wish i could end a poem like that. THAT IS HOW i want to end a poem. You have a talent for ending on just the right line.

    That even though I love you
    You don’t even know my name…

    That was sooooooo amazing, i loved it so much.
