I Miss You, Father...

by Emily   Feb 10, 2005

My dear father, I write to you again.
I feel almost like I've lost you, but it feels like you are back, once more..

I cannot help, but let the tears slip down my face, and watch them hit the floor..

When you leave, I miss you dearly, it feels like you have left me..Forever..But when I see your smiling face calling my name, I run to you, as you stand at the door..

You are my heaven, all I've ever wanted in a father..

Father, when you leave...I want to cry, and try to feel like I have never felt before..I want to be happy because you are happy..

But I am never happy..But why?
Because every time you leave, I always cry!

Don't leave me father, don't leave me ever! Please, I'll be with you, forever...I'm your daughter!

When you leave, Father..All I can think to say when I send you letters is.."I Miss You, Father..."

*Note: This poem is dedicated to my one and only, Father. You are very great to me, Dad..And I hope to see you again sometime soon! -Your daughter, always.-
