The world is black

Hypocritical smiles spreading lies
people separate, breaking ties
harsh blade shows no mercy to the tormented soul
broken spirits that don't feel whole
cannot forget the overwhelming pain
dead inside, heart full of strain
destructive sickness going around
waiting for a miraculous cure to be found
lost the will to live, no one knows how...
everything is dying now...
nothing is left, all the good is gone
what the hell is going on?
sickness killing us off...one by one...
it will never stop until its done
i've been watching all this time as the light has died
the only option was to watch...alone and broken i endlessly cried
everything that was once right is shredded and torn
looks on peoples faces, alone and forlorn
theres no where to turn, we can't get it back
everyone's broken and the world is black
