Fearless Heart: Valentines Sonnet

by Shædow Poet   Feb 10, 2005

Letting you into my once timid heart
Loving a beautiful soul more than mine
Praying our bond will never fall apart
fate led us to endless glee with one sign.
Twas the sweet feel of butterflies inside
And the smiles of when our shadowed eyes met
Remember when the pain, the hate, had died
The changing of minds I'll never forget.
So on this kind day in February
We acknowledge the love that has flowered
Though our persona's are quite contrary
Our memoirs match; the pain has devoured.
I remember the past, the words you've said
But now I await the loving ahead.
