Memories

Memories
Looking back on memories,
I smile as thoughts of you flash by.
I can’t shake your picture from my mind,
Your laugh replays over and over again.
Reflecting on how your smile had a way with me,
I loved the way you hugged me close,
I loved the way that made me feel special.
I drew your name in many hearts.
Suddenly, it hit me,
Hearts were meant to be broken.
Your happy eyes are replaced with a cold stare,
Your laugh dies slowly and fades away.
Just as soon as you were here,
You turned your back and walked away,
Leaving me only memories and an empty soul,
A lonely place.

This was a good poem and i enjoyed it, it was abit different how you did the change from a good person to a bad person. I know that it was really odd how you did it, the transition wasn't quite what i expected i guess. But still a good poem.

P.S. thank you for your comment on my poem, i always return the favor but due to the over whelming outcry of comments on that poem, it took me a while to get to you, but i always return the favor.

You write with emotion, I like that, for that I give you a 5.
