Guilt

by lost soul   Nov 12, 2006

Tears trickle down the contours of her face, seeping in the
crease of her sealed chapped lips.
the salt burns into the wounds,
opening the dam of pain once again,
making the wound bleed freely like a river.
sorrow fns through her entire being
she regrets what she did.
mistakes too big and harsh must
remain without a name,
concealed behind a facade.
guilt pushes her around, misery makes her scream...
she keeps i inside behind a lie,
praying to God that it never comes out,
and if it does...
that he wont walk away...
