Love hit a brick wall

by Kasey   Feb 11, 2005

It’s when they stop loving you that you feel it.
They say they do, but you can read his sh*t.
He always says he loves you so.
But when you see that face you know.

He always tries to lie,
But all you do is die,
You just want to say bye,
You can’t stand when you cry.
You feel so much for him,
But his light is growing dim.
You wish it wouldn't end like this,
As you plant your last kiss.
You try to walk away,
And he says he wants you to stay,
Your heart starts to fray,
You have to get away.
Inside you’re depressed and sad,
A part of you feels bad.

Writing words upon bright white,
This is the only way you see the light.
You thought he loved you too,
Why couldn't he just have loved you?
But all the while you knew,
It wouldn't work, he'd start to hate you.

Why does your heart feel so much pain?
It’s tattooed your heart like a stain.
But you can’t stop what you feel,
You want your heart to heal.
Get out before it’s too late,
You’ve got to accept it's just fate,
You can’t live in this state,
Your crumpled heart is full of hate.

This empty day,
Full of so much remorse,
You will wait for death, in due course.
You know that you can’t stay,
As you fade slowly away.
