Falling

by elise   Feb 12, 2005

The water will continue to run,
the wind will continue to yell,
and that alone my listeners,
is what can break the spell.

At home and civilization,
I feel so trapped and dead,
but out in the wilderness of life,
I feel that love is spread.

Throughout the feelings of the,
animals and insects kind,
I feel a great happiness,
a silent peace of mind.

In the world of men and lies,
where we've ruined all we had,
I just sit out by a pond,
and realize that life isn't quite so bad.
