Burning

by Sinister Soire   Feb 15, 2005

My eyes flicker as candle light
Taking in each and every sight

My nose smells the putrid burning
Like wheels on pavement turning

My face grown red in imitation
My body becoming a simulation

These feelings burning me up inside
But to no one this I can confide

My body burns and yearns to live
To spend my years in love I strive

Fire consumes my soul completely
And here I lay to burn discreetly

The fire of my soul is aflame
And my head is without shame

Silently I return to my home
Where flames of brilliance are shown

Though eventually my flame will die
Yet my body underground will fly
