Notice me

by Jamie   Feb 15, 2005

Notice me, all alone,
Watch my face, turn to stone,
Hear my cries, deafening tone,
Understand my pain, it's all unknown.

I loathe myself,
Repulsed by my own reflection,
Suffocated by a dense prison,
I feed myself poison,
I'm but a girl with deep fears,
No more than a marionette,
Hating what God blessed her with,
Cutting her strings; life's a bet.
Contemplating the knife,
Building up walls,
Though some make it past,
The can't stop her falls.
The only joy she feels,
Is the love for her friends,
And when they all leave her,
She knows it will be the end.
Time passes by,
Hour by hour,
Awaiting a fate,
She's never felt so coward.

Notice me, all alone,
Watch my heart, turn to stone,
Hear my cries, subdued tone,
Understand my pain, it's suddenly known.
