Free block

by Sinister Soire   Feb 15, 2005

The sun has broken through the clouds
My joy returned to me
No longer lost in a hell
It’s clear now and am free

Worked my way from deep inside
Broken past the solid walls
Made it back up to the surface
Returned to my loved ones calls

I am free to sit and lay
Outside and all alone
For everyone it is too cold
But for me this is my home

Birds chirping up above me
Trees swaying under gentle breeze
Silence reining all the land
Don’t disturb my slumber please

The grass is soft beneath my back
M jacket for a small pillow
Here I have everything I need
Though the clouds may billow

Fluttering eye lids open up
And gaze into the sky
Cautious clouds drift overhead
How much I wish to fly

To soar up above between the birds
And float amongst the clouds
With my silent peaceful friends
Way up above the petty crowds

Slowly falling down to earth
Returning to my kind
Another free block spent near heaven
Between training of my mind
