Again I Did not Die

by shattered and broken   Feb 16, 2005

I'm the daughter no one wants
I'm the friend no one needs
I'm all those silent pleas and I'm all the tears no one sees
i hide my pain behind this smile but a fake smile can only last for a while
but each night i reach for my good old friend my knife
i slowly drag him across my tender wrist as i watch my blood spill out over my fingertips
the blood so red as it falls to the floor i'm finally no numb theres no pain anymore
my mind is clear i have no fears
but then i come back and i look at my bloody wrist and a single tear falls from my eye because again i didn't die

thanks for reading! always-

Wow... that's really sad. I feel her pain in your writing...if that makes any sense at all. Keep writing... I added you to my favourites... hope you don't mind. I'll keep checking out your work. This poem was awesome. Elle x
